Komyo Reiki Kai is a system created by Hyakuten Inamoto. Inamoto-sensei was taught by Chiyoko Yamaguchi, who received her master training from Dr. Hayashi in 1938.
The purpose of Komyo Reiki Kai is to promote a wider spread of the Reiki hands-on healing art, making it easily available to everyone.
To encourage the use of Reiki with family and also in the workplace as an effective alternative and/or supplementary or complimentary medicine.
In Komyo Reiki, it is believed that underlying true happiness is physical, mental, emotional and spiritual good health.
To improve the mind and body and maintain optimal health by means of Reiki Ryoho practice.
To live a healthy and peaceful daily life, receiving the blessings and benefit of practicing Reiki. To strive on through Reiki practice, to uplift humanity and spirituality as a Reiki practitioner so as to attain the ultimate objective of Reiki Ryoho, which is “Anshin Ritsumei” or “the absolute Inner Peace” in the terms of Usui-sensei, the founder of Reiki.
The slogan of Komyo Reiki is "Go Placidly amidst praise or blame." Taken in the context of the precepts/concepts of Reiki it fits nicely.
This is an Hayashi lineage school of Reiki, but from a Japanese perspective rather than through the perspective of Mrs. Takata, whose approach was more western.
